Inbox Triage emails you a tight overnight summary every morning — what came in, what's urgent, what can wait, and what's safe to skip — so you start the day with a one-page brief instead of twenty unread tabs. By default the agent is **read-only on the morning schedule** — it scans your unread email but never archives, marks-as-read, or replies on your behalf. When you want it to actually act on the inbox (clean up the newsletters, archive the resolved threads), run it ad-hoc with an explicit instruction like "archive resolved threads and mark newsletters as read." Leave **Instructions** blank for the default digest behavior, or tune it: "flag anything from customers as urgent", "skip newsletters entirely", "draft suggested replies for the top 3 urgent items".
