Scans Gmail for receipts and invoices, extracts vendor + amount + date, categorizes each expense, and pushes them into QuickBooks as draft entries for your review. Runs daily; you spend 5 minutes approving instead of 45 minutes typing.

Expense Categorizer finds emailed receipts and invoices in your Gmail since the last run, parses each one, categorizes the expense, and creates a draft entry in QuickBooks for your review. You don't approve typing receipts — you approve categories. What it parses well: structured receipts from Amazon, Stripe, Uber, Lyft, AWS, GCP, SaaS subscription notices, restaurant POS receipts with itemized totals, airline tickets, hotel folios. What it flags for you to review: handwritten receipts photographed, ambiguous descriptions, amounts that don't add up, multi-currency receipts. These land in a "needs review" section of the run report rather than getting pushed to QuickBooks. Use **Instructions** to set category preferences ("travel under $50 → Meals & Entertainment, over $50 → Travel") or to exclude certain vendors ("skip anything from my personal Amazon account").
